Top US commander: Burning Quran endangers troops (OneNewsNow.com)
Isn't Islam supposed to be the religion of peace? I could certainly see being upset if I heard that a mosque in Pakistan was buring a Bible, but it wouldn't make me want to kill anyone. I most likley would be saddened that there are people who would love to have that Bible, who would charish having a single Bible for their family, that the burning of one would be a shame.
Perhaps it is because I know that God's Word endures and cannot be stopped. He will keep His Word until the end of the day and that God will deal with those whom sins against Him. The crime is not against me and is not my place to deal retribution. My job is to pray and be a witness of His unconditional love. God is merciful, but He is also just and can take care of dispensing justice better than I can ever dream of.
